We are interested in how autoimmune T cells are generated. We study in situ T cell activation in lymph nodes from a variety of locations in both mice and patients with inflammatory disease. We are generating live lymph node slice culture systems, and we use immunofluorescence and histochemical staining as well as flow cytometry and functional assays.
